There are several earwigs that appear in The Hallway scene of Feelin' Red (Platformer). These earwigs appear to be residents of Feelin' Blue's castle.

They are literal earwigs

Personality

They aren't your average earwigs. They appear to worship Feelin' Blue like a deity as they were seen praying to a Friend Feelin' Blue that was crucified, and they also constructed The Earwig Friend. Some were seen eating a Feelin' Blue's Dirty Laundry, so it is likely earwigs are their natural predator in the Feelin' Blue's castle ecosystem.
